Josette Candelaria

As a Filipina artist, I've worked very hard to cultivate art that represents me. This meant travelling bi-coastally between San Diego, California, and New York, New York, to further my education in a place closest to my aspirations. Actualizing my goals at a conservatory so far has looked like exercising my creativity: choreographing, playwrighting, and songwriting. When I am singing, acting, and dancing, I love collaborating with like-minded individuals and studying hard under mentors. I'm very passionate about what I do, and (as a Libra) have a timely knack for work-life balance, as I currently work with my school's scheduling and box office at the Manhattan School of Music.
